Uganda telecom handed over 1,000,000/= to yet another lucky customer. Charles Ssekamatte, a stone mason won with uganda telecom’s Motorola c113a promotion at the Tijjakeesa e Nakivubo on 12th November.

Every customer who had bought a Motorola c113a mobile phone in Kampala received an instant prize of either a cap or a t-shirt and was entered into a draw to win the million shillings. The Smile tour team carried out the draw and uganda telecom Events and Promotions Manager, Eddie Mugulusi picked the winning ticket.

Ssekamatte bought his Motorola c113a at 70,000/= on Wednesday 8th November in Kiwatule. The Motorola c113a is a very durable and trendy phone that boasts of the most long lasting battery life of any other phone.

Mr Levi Nyakundi, the utl Marketing Manager handed over the cash to the visibly excited customer. Mr. Ssekamatte at Rwenzori Courts on Monday 14th November  because Ssekamatte had been in Fort Portal on business by the time of the draw.

Another lucky Customer in Fort Portal won himself 1,000,000/= in the same promotion on 28th October while Richard Tusiime won his million in Mbarara on 3rd November.The promotion is still on country wide and every customer who buys a phone will receive an instant prize and a chance to win 1,000,000/=.

Crowds that attended the show in Nakivubo were treated to entertainment by well known singers like Eagles Production, Bobi Wine, Chameleone, Silver Kyagulanyi, Nvanungi, Obsessions and many other PAM Award winners. The concert that ended at 1:30am also featured entertainment from the uganda telecom Smile Tour team featuring Papaya and Softy.
